NgāiTakoto Trustee Election General Seats

Meet the Candidates for Te Rūnanga o NgāiTakoto Trust

This is the first election to be held under the Restated Trust Deed of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Takoto. The election provides for representation across the four marae of the Trust; Waimanoni, Wharemaru, Mahimaru and Te Pā a Parore, as well as three General Trustee positions. The three General Trustee positions are open to all Adult Registered Members of Te Rūnanga o NgāiTakoto, regardless of their marae affiliation. This ensures that all eligible adult members have the opportunity to stand for, and vote for, representatives who will contribute to the governance and future direction of the Rūnanga.

The eight candidates profiled below are standing for election to the three General Trustee positions. We encourage all eligible Adult Registered Members to take the opportunity to learn more about each candidate and consider their experience, skills, values and vision for the future of Te Rūnanga o NgāiTakoto.
